Carol Barry is a graduate of both the University of Cape Town and the University of Stellenbosch. After completing her articles at a large Cape Town law firm she joined Rushton du Toit Kraus and van den Heever attorneys where she headed the conveyancing and property divisions.
In 1994, urged on by one of the major banks, Carol opened the CM Barry & Co. offices in Oranjezicht. In 2004, with a growing client base, CM Barry & Co. moved to the current premises in Gardens in an area off vibey Dunkley Square which is known as the media and film industry hub of Cape Town.
CM Barry’s client base has grown over the years and have specialized in all areas of property law and administration of estate work. Areas of expertise range from advising on the purchase and sale of farms to sectional title development work.
